He was also the President of Smith-Eveleigh Motor Sales Co., Inc. and amassed a substantial fortune throughout his lifetime. He lived in Theresa, New York for most of his life but retired to Florida where he died on 02 Dec 1957.

Jennie Marie Smith

(Samuel⁴⁸; Samuel⁴⁷) Jennie was born 29 Sep 1916 in Richmond, Ontario, Canada. Early in her teens, Jennie moved to Kingston, Ontario, Canada where she held various jobs.

She married Harold William King (William⁴⁸; Henry⁴⁷; Horace⁴⁶; Sardus⁴⁵; Peltiah⁴⁴; Joseph⁴³; Benjamin⁴²; James Kinge⁴¹; William Kinge⁴⁰; William³⁹; William³⁸; Thomas Kynge³⁷) on 15 May 1937 in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. They took up, what was to become a lifelong, residence in Newburgh, Ontario, Canada where she raised her children, provided, at times, a home for various family members and became very involved in the church.

Jennie taught Sunda School and worked and held offices in the Women's Association/ United Church Women. She also became involved in the Belleville Presbytery as corresponding secretary for the United Church Women.

Jennie put her culinary skills to work by becoming an outstanding cook at vacation lodges from 1955 to 1966. Then in 1969, having learned to drive, she took the road with Rawleigh Products, retiring in 1982.

After retiring, Jennie continued to give loving support to her family in several ways and was active in the Order of the Eastern Star, Lenadco Auxillary, and Seniors Outreach Services. In 1999 Jennie moved to the Fairmount Home in Glenburnie, Ontario, Canada due to declining health where she was cared for with compassion as one of their family.

Jennie died on 10 Jan 2005 and was buried on 13 Jan 2005 at the Newburgh United Cemetery, Newburgh, Ontario, Canada
